Doctor Who, because my life still revolves around it all the time

St. Trinians - it is few years old, but I think I only discovered it this year.

Your favorite book read this year?
The How to Train your Dragon series(ok, I admit, I've listened to those. Just I read so much that I cannot remember. Beautiful Chaos was very nice as well).

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
The Rocky Horror Picture Show OST

Your favorite TV show of the year?
Castle.

Your favorite LJ community of the year?
doctor_donna, because thanks to them I don't miss Ten that much anymore. At one point I was really weepy and then I found it. And it got better. Yay.


Your best new fandom discovery of the year?

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Caprica was cancelled. And no one posted a single fandom secret about it.

Your TV boyfriend of the year?
Still tenth Doctor. Nope, still not boring.

Kate Beckett from Castle.

When I got signed photo of Kate Mulgrew for my birthday from kate04us

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Th X Files when it was not so disgustingly shippy. Or maybe I didn't mind it that much then. I don't know, maybe it's just in me, I hate those "OMG SO SWEET THEY HAVE TO MARRY AND HAVE KIDS AND NONE OF THEM EVER KISSED ANYONE ELSE EVER OR LOVED ANYONE BEFORE THEY'VE MET" shippers. Get real.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
I wish they killed Eleven off. But I am looking forward to Fright Night and I just wish it was January already and all my shows came back.

Killing Eleven won't bring Ten back. I really wish you'd get over it. FFS, My Doctor turned into Colin Baker

My Doctor turned into David Tennant. Which was kinda ok. I'd still prefer Colin Baker over Matt Smith. Regeneration is pretty much the only way that would save me from his "acting". Maybe if he got the role 10years from now when he would be more experienced as an actor, it'd be better. Nah, the writing would still suck.

I just think that it couldn't possibly be worse than it is now. I thought that the show sucked during the "specials" year, but it hit a brand new low with season 5/31.

I kinda find it hard to believe your doctor was 9 when everything here is 10. And it definitely colours you slamming Matt Smith.

I like Nine as the Doctor, I can re-watch series 2005 over and over again and it never gets boring. However, I prefer Tennant over Eccleston as an actor when it comes to the other roles and I actually began to like him after I've seen him on Blackpool.

Everyone is entitled to have their personal opinion. Let's leave it that way, okay.
